Junior Accountant

Job Description 

MARDA Management Inc. is a full-service property management company, managing property of all sizes and provides services for client owners that encompass the full life cycle of their properties from vacancy, rental, and maintenance, including management of renovation projects of all types and sizes.

Responsibilities include:

General accounts receivable functions

· Code, post, and receipt payments

· Oversee all entries for compounded accounts receivable to our clients amounting to several hundred transactions per month.

· Enter payments related to accounts receivable

· Prepare and coordinate deposit activities

General accounts payable functions

· Check, verify and process invoices

· Prepare payments for signature

· Sort, code and enter accounts payable data

· Analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices

· Maintain vendor files

· Maintain vendor relations as it relates to accounts payable

General support functions

· Assist in month end reporting procedures

· Find and use accounting data to resolve accounting problems and discrepancies

· Track and audit petty cash

· Liaise with other departments/customers/vendors


· Bachelor’s degree or diploma in accounting

· Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

· Ability to interact and problem solve effectively with customers, vendors, and team members

· Organized and results driven self-starter with strong time management skills and attention to details

· Excellent excel skills, knowledge of google workspace an asset

· Must have a winning attitude that makes the team better

· Demonstrated focus on exceptional customer service

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
