Primary Purpose of Role

The Cyber Security Analyst role is responsible for identifying and responding to security threats and incidents, assisting in design and delivery of security controls inside the organisation, and providing consultancy to business, IT and clinical-OT units in all things related to information security. This role will provide cyber security related subject matter expertise in control technologies and architectures (e.g. endpoint management, incident response and threat hunting, firewalls, SIEM, etc) to assist in securing the organisation and responding to security incidents when they occur – with different responses for traditional IT and the clinical operational technology environments as appropriate.

Technical knowledge in the field of information security
Some knowledge and experience of security related tools and products, e.g. endpoint management, firewalls, security testing tools, etc
Bachelor degree or higher in Information Security, Information Technology, Risk Management or Equivalent or equivalent relevant experience
