Delivery Driver

Job Description 

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Safely and efficiently operate a company-provided van for deliveries.
• Deliver a variety of goods, including boxes, packages, and fresh produce, to diverse clients.
• Handle packages with care, ensuring their condition upon delivery.
• Lift and transport boxes weighing up to 20kgs.
• Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by dispatch.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain recipient signatures.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in delivery driving.
• Valid full Australian driver’s license.
• Australian Business Number (ABN) holder.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Strong physical stamina for lifting and carrying packages.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.

Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 40 per week

Salary: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Afternoon shift
• Day shift
• Morning shift

Experience:

• Delivery driving: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driver Licence (Required)

Work Authorisation:

• Australia (Required)
