IT Systems Analyst

Job Description

Everest has been in business since, and is the leading toy, game, and gift manufacturer and distributor in North America, with our head office located in Ancaster, Ontario.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team. You will drive automation initiatives using Microsoft’s Power Automate, PowerShell, and other scripting languages. Your expertise in Windows deployments, Linux administration, virtualization technologies, general networking, and experience with MSP or wholesale operations will be instrumental. A positive attitude, team-oriented approach, and commitment to customer satisfaction through automation are essential.

The Opportunity:

• Provide Support to end users
• Automate tasks and streamline processes using Power Automate, PowerShell, and other scripting languages (e.g., Bash).
• Deploy and manage Windows systems using Microsoft deployment technologies (MDT, Autopilot etc) and optimizing virtual deployments with VMware and Hyper-V.
• Support Linux systems administration and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Apply general networking knowledge to troubleshoot and optimize system performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, share knowledge, and seek customer feedback.
• Provide on-call support and resolve incidents promptly.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Attention to details.
• Extensive experience in automation using Power Automate, PowerShell, and scripting languages in general (e.g., Bash).
• Proficiency in Windows deployments and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with Linux administration and scripting languages.
• Strong understanding of general networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Managed Service Provider (MSP) operations is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role, showcasing expertise in automation and system management.
• Experience with wholesale operations is a plus.
• Experience with Sage X3 is a plus.
