Job Summary

The Regular Pharmacist assists the Pharmacy Manager in all aspects of the operation of the pharmacy.

What you will do

Provide good customer service by greeting and thanking each customer, locating merchandise in the sales floor, maintaining a high level of customer service and patient care in the pharmacy. Establish and develop a strong working relationship with division management and the District Manager of Professional Services. Manage the pharmacy process flow and accept prescription or refill requests from customers, doctors and hospitals. Ensure that all prescriptions are processed correctly, efficiently and safely, and advise on the administration, use and effects of medications. Ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals. Review records and reports to determine compliance with Company operational expectations. Use pharmacy computer, cash register equipment and other assigned tools and update customer medication profiles.
