Position Summary

This Associate reports to the Manager of the Optical Center and provides the branch with expertise in ordering and distributing quality eyewear while maximizing sales and profits, and providing customer service. exemplary customers by upholding Walmart’s three core values ​​and beliefs.

What you will do

Support the direction of the Optical Center Manager to maximize Optical Center sales and profits. Assist in the training of Optics Center associates to ensure their education on lenses, frames and contact lenses. Participate in the execution of marketing and merchandising programs according to Company expectations and be responsible for ordering and maintaining inventory. Manage, support and represent the company’s core values ​​of respect for people, providing customer service and striving for excellence. Responsible for the image standards of the Optics Center ensuring a good appearance and a clean hospital like environment for associates, clients and physicians. Accept and evaluate written order orders from clients or physicians. Responsible for maintaining overall safe working conditions, which includes proper maintenance of equipment and adherence to emergency guidelines required to protect the optical team and the general public. Responsible for following and enforcing proper provincial and federal guidelines for the issuance of prescription and non-prescription eyewear.
